Qualifications are as follows:
1) A person who manages or cultivates farmland of 1,000 square meters or more
2) Persons engaged in agriculture for more than 90 days per year
3)Minimum submerged 0.5 boxes per 20,000 boxes as silkworm keepers
4) A person who has an address or business place where the association is located
5) A person who raises livestock that exceeds the standards in the table below located in the cooperative area

2. Nonghyup member registration procedure
If you want to join first, you can visit the Nonghyup and fill out the application form, bringing a copy of your resident registration, a copy of your ID card, a certificate of family relationship, the Ministry of Agriculture Support, and a fact confirmation.
At this time, the fact check is a document proving that you have been engaged in agriculture for more than 90 days, and it is a document that requires confirmation from the head of the neighborhood, so you must prepare it before visiting the Nonghyup.
If you fill out and submit the documents and application form, you will not be able to join immediately. Membership will be determined through deliberation and resolution by the Nonghyup Board of Directors held once a month.
3. Nonghyup member benefits
You can receive discounts when purchasing various items necessary for farming. Typical examples include fertilizers, pesticides, feed, agricultural products, and crops. In addition, in accordance with the Restriction of Special Taxation Act, income tax is not levied on income received on the total amount invested in financial institutions such as Nonghyup, Fisheries Cooperatives, Forestry Cooperatives, Credit Cooperatives, and Saemaul Geumgo.
If you become a member of the Agricultural Cooperative Federation, if you take out a loan, the interest rate will be drastically reduced and you can participate in the farmhouse support project. In particular, you can participate in the agricultural machinery banking business supported by the Nonghyup, and gifts are provided on holidays and Farmers’ Day.
In addition to this, you can receive various benefits as a farmhouse, such as paying dividends according to investment and use, payment of agricultural material exchange vouchers according to the investment paid, free participation in farmhouse safety deduction, preservation of joint transportation fees, and free delivery of agricultural materials.
