When using KakaoTalk, there are cases where I forget which account I used and even the password. Learn how to find your KakaoTalk account and change your password through KakaoTalk account management.
Even beginners can follow it very easily. If you do not have a KakaoTalk account or want to create an additional one, refer to the previous post and proceed with ‘Create a KakaoTalk account’.
1. Find your KakaoTalk account

1-3) Click the ‘All settings’ menu.

1-4) You can check the personal ‘Settings’ screen. You can check the Kakao account email you are using in the ‘Kakao Account’ section of the square box. This email is your Kakao account.
When logging in to Kakao services, enter this email and password to access.

2. KakaoTalk password reset (KakaoTalk account management)
2-1) Click the square box number 1 of ‘Kakao Account’.

2-2) Then, you can check the KakaoTalk account management screen as follows. It is recommended that you read the precautions before changing the password.

2-3) Click “Change Account Password” at the bottom.

2-4) Enter the existing KakaoTalk password. If the password is correct, the ‘Confirm’ button is activated at the bottom. Click the ‘Confirm’ button.

2-5) Then, you can proceed with the change to the password you want to change.

3. Find KakaoTalk password
If you forgot your KakaoTalk password, you need to find and change your password first. First of all, access the ‘Account Password Change’ screen in the ‘Settings’ menu of your Kakao account as before.
If you have forgotten the procedure, you can easily understand the procedure if you look at it from step 1.
3-1) Click ‘Change Account Password’.

3-2) ‘Forgot your password?’ Please click on the part.

3-3) You can find the password by ‘phone number’ or ’email’. Search is not to find out the password you used previously, but to set a new password after authenticating yourself.
Please select your desired authentication method.

3: If the authentication number is correct, click the ‘Next’ button to activate

3-6) Search by e-mail is similar.
1: Enter name (or nickname)
2: Authentication request after entering e-mail (default Kakao account e-mail is set)
3: If the authentication number is correct, click the ‘Next’ button to activate

3-7) If e-mail authentication was successful, you can set a new password as follows. Enter the password you want to use and click OK to complete the change normally.
